NotViper6: I think all we have really established here is you're a retard.
chrlpolk: Obama did what now? Didn't we already establish who writes the laws? Where are you getting your information from, that Obama spent HIS time on Obamacare, which was written by and passed through Congress? Like most Americans, you haven't a clue how your political system works. You just focus on the one guy, and wonder why things never really change in politics. Just remember, next time you call someone stupid, "you are" is contracted to "you're".
NotViper6: The question isn't moot at all. Obama spent a great deal of his first 4 years in office pushing to get this health care bill passed. But according to YOU .That is not his job. Yes I know you can babble on an on an on about how you think this government works in hopes people will not notice your stupid.
chrlpolk: If Obama didn't write it, then that question is moot. Obamacare, which Congress wrote, doesn't have to do with foreign affairs. It is a domestic legislation, which is Congress' job. As for what good comes from Obama's trips, a news article reads: "The United States and ten South East Asia nations have agreed to deepen their trade and investment ties in a move that should help pave the way for more countries to link up with the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade pact." Which is good for us.
NotViper6: Did I say Obama wrote Obamacare did I even say he read the dam thing. NO I never even implied the man could read at all. I ask you a simple question. that you keep avoiding in hopes you can save face. I asked what Obamacare has to do with the military or foreign affairs...We all know Obamacare has nothing to do with the Military or foreign affair why can't you say it?Are you affraid by answering that question you would be admitting your a retard.
chrlpolk: If you checked with Wikipedia, you'd see that he proposed the idea for it. The act was written by the House of Representatives. His only involvement was the proposal to do it. The Senate rejected the House's act, and wrote their own, which became what we call "Obamacare". Obama did not write Obamacare, Congress did. Everybit of it. Everything you hate about it is a result of Congress. Put the blame where it lies, or continue scratching your head all confused, your choice.
NotViper6: Why would Obama propose the "Affordable health care act" That isn't his job according to you. That has nothing to do with Military or foreign affairs.and we are back to the same question you keep avoiding. because you know The job of president is more than just military and foreign affairs. peace out done with this.
chrlpolk: I answered that question, too. Let me give you a little more info. Verify this with Wikipedia at your leisure. Obama proposed the, "Affordable Health Care for America Act". That is not Obamacare. Obamacare is, "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act", created in the Senate. Congress created Obamacare, not the President, because Congress writes laws, not the President. Is your question not thoroughly answered at this point?
NotViper6: Lets stop this right here ,you DID NOT answer the question. Let me ask it again this time I'll type real slow so you don't get lost. You said and I quote " The President is leader of the military and foreign affairs. Electiontime politics confuse the roles" I asked which duty does Obamacare fall under military or foreign affairs? you know and I know it falls under neither. your assessment of the duties of the president was wrong.
chrlpolk: The question was answered. The President is focusing on foreign affairs, as he is supposed to. Obama supporters are just as lost in the political mire as you seem to be - again, Congress writes the laws. I don't know why Americans have such a hard time grasping their own political system. Obama didn't apply thumbscrews - what did happen was that the Obamacare bill that Obama proposed had undergone many changes before Congress passed it. Because it's Congress that writes the laws.
NotViper6: I didn't flag your comment. And like Obama you didn't answer my question Are you waiting for Candy Crowley to come to your rescue also? I agree with you congress is the problem. If your goal is to create a dictatorship. Lets be honest here Obama had to apply thumb screws to his own party to get Obamacare passed. I have notice Obama supporters brag about what he achived in 4 years. But never mention the price tag .
chrlpolk: Flagging comments as spam doesn't make them untrue. The legislative branch writes laws - that's Congress. And Obamacare is a law. The reason the President has veto power is to block any law which might be detremental to national security. Even in that case, Congress has the ability to override the President. I'm afraid you are one of the many Americans who have been bamboozled by political spin. Your problems are with your Congress, not your President.
NotViper6: Obamacare does that fall under military or foreign affair.?? ..And before getting other countries to change their economic policies to curb China's growth. Shouldn't Obama change our own polices first. Our trade agreements with China are one sided as hell.
NotViper6: wow what a wonderful concept to help out other Asian economies.I'm sorry but aren't we paying this tard to fix our economy
chrlpolk: Encouraging reforms which will broaden the markets of other Asian economies, creating tougher localized competition to offset China's world-market power.
