Liberal MP John McCallum admits that the Liberal corporate tax plan will cost Canadians jobs
Cimreau: I'll define a minor loss of jobs for you. Imagine you could keep 100 jobs for a year by reducing corporate tax rates slightly. A large loss of revenue for the government for the benefit of individual Canadians. So you'd have to cut back on other programs. How many jobs are worth shortchanging our citizens in public education and health care just to keep fickle corporate employers around? When the benefit of government programs outweighs the worth of a few jobs, those job losses are minor.
